Where to find romance and pure food love this Valentine's Day

Nothing says love like a meal at Gramercy Tavern. Executive Chef Mike Anthony cooks from the heart. Enjoy dishes like roasted oysters and seafood cappelletti with lobster sauce. Dissserts include chocolate pudding with salted caramel and ricotta cheesecake.

Break the bank with a special meal at Eric Ripert's Le Bernadin. Start with organically grown farm-raised caviar ($120 an ounce), ultra rare yellowfin tuna and butter poached lobster tail. Finish it off with milk chocolate-hazelnut mousse
with burnt honey-pistachio ice cream.

Al Di La with its homey decor is perfect for that special Italian meal. Located in Park Slope, Brooklyn it offers an extensive wine list, handmade pastas and dishes like braised rabbit with black olives and polenta for a very special meal.

Try to squeeze into The Little Owl in the West Village if you can for some gravy meatball sliders and sliced duck with almonds and truffle vinaigrette. And who could say no to a petit filet mignon. Private dining is also available.

For a spectacular view you can't miss with the River Cafe. Wagyu steak tartare and wild rock lobster tails offer a perfect start. Throw in a rack of lamb or crisp duck breast with truffle honey and your honey will be very grateful. Chef Brad Steelman's six course tasting menu runs $125.

Looking for an intimate hideaway that won't bust the budget, try the D.O.C Wine Bar in Williamsburg. Nothing says love better than paper thin slices of bresaola with
shaved parmesan accompanied by a nice bottle of wine.

And classic French never goes out of style and neither does La Grenouille with its lobster and tarragon ravioli, frogs legs sauteed provençale and organic roasted chicken in a truffle and foie gras sauce. Finish it off with the Grand Marnier souffle.

Those are just a few of the many fine restaurants you will find throughout the city.
