The Chili Takedown blasted into existence in the winter of 2005 - in a little hovel somewhere in Brooklyn NYC. Everyone loves us, so the Takedown has quickly grown into a monster sized event. Amateur cooks bring in their amateurish chilis and compete for money, prizes, and self respect. $100 cash prize for best chili. Sponsored by the Brooklyn Kitchen and Clarkson Potter.
