Meet Caldecott Medalist EMILY ARNOLD McCULLY as we celebrate her incredible body of work at the opening of her one-woman art show here in the Books of Wonder Gallery. Ms. McCully is also the recipient of the Christopher Medal and the National Book Award. The artwork will include pieces from her books Mirette on the High Wire (Caldecott Medal, 1993), Beautiful Warrior: The Legend of the Nun’s Kung Fu, The Pirate Queen, Mouse Practice, Snow, and That’s What Leprechauns Do. Light refreshments will be served. 5 – 7 pm.
