Meet PHIL BILDNER, the author of The Greatest Game Ever Played. It’s 1958 and a father and son are grieving the loss of their beloved hometown baseball team, the New York Giants. Then Sam hears that there is a new team called the Giants in New York – but they play football! When he convinces his skeptical pop to come with him to a game, the two unknowingly find themselves at what is today still known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played.” Watching as such football greats as Johnny Unitas, Grank Gifford, and Vince Lombardi make history, Sam and his dad rediscover the joy of rooting for their hometown team. The author will present his book, answer questions, and sign copies. 5 – 7pm.
