The annual International July Fourth Hot Dog Eating Contest is on at the original Nathan’s Famous restaurant in Coney Island. Only this year Takeru Kobayashi is not scheduled to compete. Will Joey Chestnut keep his title? Or will a newcomer eat his or her way into the record books? It all kicks off at Nathan's Famous on Surf Avenue at 12 noon on July 4th.
