The weather is expected to be a balmy 32 degrees when the Polar Bears take their annual New Year's Day plunge into the frigid waters off Coney Island. The festivities begin at noon on the Boardwalk at Stilwell Avenue. Be sure to bring a bathing suit, some surf boots and lots of warm clothing. The Polar Bears, along with the New York Aquarium, are working together to help Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses. Your donations are welcome.
