Description:

The holidays come alive at the Garment District Holiday Market where you will find unique gifts and foods, many with a New York City flair.  At Santa's Pen there are hand-crafted Christmas ornaments, including one featuring Lady Liberty.  Artist Demi Theoharis is selling abstract expressionist pieces including many with New York street scenes.  We loved the jewelry at Shan Shui Gallery made with jade from Laos.  There are bracelets featuring coins for prosperity, turtles for longevity and butterflies for love.  At Pop Chart Lab they are selling "infographical" charts featuring everything you need to know about a single item; dogs, birds, whiskey and beer.  These are obviously made by people with too much time on their hands.  Spices, herbs and imported teas can be had at Spices and Tease, and lovely soaps, already decorated, make for great stocking stuffers at Soap for Sinners.  If you're looking for a sweet treat for the holidays, gold-dusted chocolate macarons are right up your alley.  They are made by the folks at Bijoux Macarons.  And if you're feet tire out, grab a beer at the Stella Artois retro beer mobile.  Now, that's my kind of shopping!
