When I'm looking for a java jolt I often head to Bowery Coffee. This small shop, located next to Pulino's, offers a strong brew from a talented group of baristas. It is as much a delight to look at as it is to drink.

The shop is located inside an old factory building that is right out of the Industrial Age with its brick front and ornate wrought iron work. Inside, you'll find floor-to-ceiling windows, weathered wainscoting and tin ceiling tiles. Sit back at one of the cafe-style tables or take a seat on one of the old metal stools, enjoy a cup of Joe, and maybe a designer doughnut delivered fresh daily from the Doughnut Plant. - Thomas Rafael
