What would summer be like without cool, refreshing gelato? In the West Village you will find a New York favorite, L'Arte del Gelato scooping up delicious treats, like the Limone Arancia (lemon-orange), cantalupo and peach. The owners learned their craft in Italy and it shows. The gelato here is flavorful and vibrant. Other flavors include Amaretto, chestnut, liquorice, pumpkin and Zabaione. For $4.50, you can choose two scoops served in a cup or a cone. You will also find L'Arte del Gelato inside the Chelsea Market, and at the Lincoln Center Plaza during the summer months.
