Cititour Review:

In search of a hot bowl of soup on a cold winter's night, I found myself inside the Food Gallery on 32nd Street in K-Town. It's sort of a Korean version of Smorgasburg.  I had been here before for pork buns, sushi and even dessert, but never soup.  Tucked away in a back corner I discovered Noodle 32.

The first thing I noticed was the woman behind the counter had a very nice smile.  Friendly service is always welcome, especially when you are trying a new place.  A quick glance at the menu also revealed a nice assortment of noodles, ranging from ramen to buckwheat and rice.  I ordered the pork miso soup with wheat noodles.  I was handed a pager and waited for my soup to arrive.

The soup was piping hot with thin slices of pork belly laid across the top.  The meat immediately melted in my mouth.  Beneath it was a rich miso broth.  Using my chopstix I pulled up a bundle of wheat noodles.  They were soft and silky.  And while I prefer my noodles a bit more al dente, it didn't stop me from digging in to find bits of zucchini, carrots and jalapeno peppers.  You also get a small plate of spicy kimchi on the side which should not be ignored.

At this point, my belly was nice and warm.  Mission accomplished.
