View the Full Menu Cuisine: New American Summary: Salt and fat - two words we've been told to avoid are being embraced at Chef Daniel Yi's restaurant in Sunnyside, Queens. Yi, who grew up in the neighborhood, is dishing up new American with a global twist. Dishes like braised pork belly tacos with a kimchi salsa, and "Crack and Cheese" made with fried potato gnocchi in a cheese béchamel sauce and bacon. You'll also find short rib buns, pulled pork sliders, and yellowtail served with Italian speck, pickled jalapenos and citrus. Dessert includes a lychee panna cotta and Rice Krispy bars. It's nice to see an artfully designed restaurant with an innovative menu cropping up in Queens. I guess you could call that the "sunny side." - Thomas Rafael Reader Ratings:
