Summary:
Imagine walking down a romantic cobblestone street in Paris. That is the image the folks at bisous caio Macarons are trying to conjure up as you enter this bake shop on the Lower East Side. But you won't find croissants or baguettes, just deliciously indulgent French macarons.

There are classic flavors like dark chocolate, pistachio, raspberry, espresso and salted caramel (my favorite). And then there is the "fleur collection," which includes flavors like jasmine and green tea with a white chocolate ganache; the rose macaron made with rose syrup and a delicate buttercream, and the violet macaron in electric purple with candied violet petals sprinkled on top. Each macaron costs $2.50 if you are seeking a small treat. There are also gift boxes available ranging from $16.50 for six to $56 for a box of 24. You can mix and match or buy one of each.

Bisous' macarons taste as good as they look, and make for a perfect housewarming gift or wedding favors. - Thomas Rafael

Gem in the LES
I love French macarons, and I have to admit that these were some of the best I have ever tried...including France. The packaging is also pretty cute and trendy. The perfect gift for HER.

Yum
One of my favorite places for macarons. Green tea and jasmine is one of the greatest creations made.

Great macarons and almost no wait
Who knew that the Lower East Side was hiding one of the best macaron places!? No need to buy a flight ticket to Paris, or to wait hours in line (though might have to wait a few minutes on a Sat or Sun), in order to get impeccable texture and strong flavors true to the ingredients/descriptions. Only wish they had more locations throughout the city. Love !
