Li-Lac Chocolates is celebrating the opening of its newest West Village store (75 Greenwich Avenue) with 1923 prices on Saturday, October 19th. From 11am - 5pm, guests will enjoy chocolate mousse rolls, almond bark, the legendary fudge, coconut clusters and pecan chews for 23 cents apiece. In addition, the first 100 customers will be able to purchase 1 pound of almond bark as well as a 16-piece truffle assortment boxes each for $9.23. This is Li-Lac’s sixth New York City Location.

Halleck Vineyard, named “Best in Class” in California, will lead a tasting of award-winning Pinot Noirs at Agern on Friday, October 18th. The tasting will be accompanied by a five-course dinner including dishes like Massachusetts Sea Scallops with horseradish and cucumber, and white sturgeon caviar and Lobster Tail bisque with fennel and cauliflower. Desserts, like Chocolate with Preserved Blackberry, will round out the meal. Tickets are $255 per person. For reservations click here.

Shuko (47 E 12th St) turns 5 next month and to celebrate they are throwing a party on November 2nd! The omakase/kaiseki restaurant by former Masa chefs Nick Kim and Jimmy Lau is offering tacos from El Pique Mexican in the Bronx (a favorite of the Shuko crew), an open bar, DJ Palermo (aka Shuko's chef de cuisine), along with friends and music. Tickets are $20 and available at the door until they sell out.

Boqueria is celebrating the fall season with several new drinks. They include The Devil Wears Manzana (Kings County bourbon, aged rum, Fuji apple, spicy apple-guindilla pepper syrup), The Brooklyn (Rye whiskey, dolin blanc, Picon, maraschino cherry and black walnut), and Sidra Sangría (white wine, Basque cider, whiskey, apples). You will also find lively tapas that Boqueria is known for.

de Mole, in Williamsburg, is offering “unlimited” brunch for 2 hours on Saturdays and Sundays between 10am – 4pm, starting November 2nd. It also includes bottomless drinks (mimosas, Bellinis, margaritas, red sangria and Bloody Marys). The menu includes de Mole Benedict with tequila-cured salmon, Chorizo Sliders and Tacos de Nopales with grilled cactus. $45 per person by reservation only.

Oxalis, the neo-bistro in Prospect Heights, is doing brunch. The uniquely-formatted 4-course, prix-fixe, family-style menu is available on Sundays from 11AM - 2 PM ($30 per person). The menu includes Pommes Paillasson (a potato cake), Duck Sausage with ginger & lemongrass, Fried Eggs with grilled greens & salsa verde, and Blueberry Clafoutis (a baked fruit dessert). A Breakfast Martini is also being offered.

Just in time for Halloween, Black Tap restaurants (Herald Square, Midtown, Soho) is teaming up with Beatlejuice on Broadway to present the Beetlejuice CrazyShake®. It's a black chocolate shake with a vanilla frosted rim with beetlejuice themed sprinkles topped with a beetlejuice cookie, green sour belt, two black licorice twists, black and white twisty pop, whipped cream, sprinkles & chocolate drizzle ($15). Available from Oct 30 – Nov 3.

Monarch Rooftop is hosting its annual Pumpkin Carving Contest on Saturday, October 26th from 12pm to 3pm at 71 West 35th Street (judging at 2:45). Patrons of all ages can enter the contest and participate in a raffle for $1 per ticket. 100% of proceeds from raffles and drinks will be donated to Bethenny Frankel's BStrong Disaster Relief Foundation. There will be large pumpkins to carve for adults ($20) and mini pumpkins for children ($10). Children ages 4 and under are free. Costumes are welcomed and encouraged.
