Established in 1854, McSorley’s is nYC's oldest Irish pub known as much for the sawdust on its floors as its glass mugs of light and dark ale, which some patrons are known to double and even triple-up on. Cash only!

Tir Na Nog

Tir Na Nog near Penn Station remains a reliable Irish pub known for dishes like Irish Ale Battered Fish & Chips, Shepherd’s Pie and Slow Braised Lamb Shank with horseradish mash.


The Four Faced Liar

Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, The Four Faced Liar has the feel of a country pub in Ireland. Aside from several beers on tap, the bar also offers Magners Irish Cider from Tipperary.

Donovan’s Pub

Donovan’s Pub in Woodside, Queens is a popular gathering spot since 1966. The pub is known for its lengthy list of burgers. We counted eighteen on the menu, including the Divine Bovine.


Twins Irish Pub

Twins Irish Pub is a family run bar in Midtown dating back to 1970. It recently reopened after being closed due to the pandemic. Guiness Stout and Smithwick’s Irish Ale are counted among the draft beers.
  

The Leif

The Leif Bar in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn dates back to 1967.  It briefly shut down in 2012 but was revived by two longtime bartenders. The Irish bar, with a Nordic name, is also known for its live entertainment.  


Molly’s

Molly’s, which opened in 1964 was named after the Irish folk song Molly Malone. The original wood-burning fireplace is also intact. Look for traditional Irish pub fare.

Irish Haven

Irish Haven in Sunset Park, Brooklyn is a longtime watering hole where you can grab a pint of Guiness. The bar was featured in Martin Scorsese's Oscar Winning Film, The Departed. Corned beef on rye is being served for St Patrick's Day.
 

The Hairy Lemon

The Hairy Lemon is a modern Irish pub located in Alphabet City. Its signature drink is Hairy Lemonade made with Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, lemon juice, honey syrup and Tropical Red Bull.  Irish breakfast is available all day.

Neir’s Tavern

Neir’s Tavern in Woodhaven is the oldest bar in Queens dating back more than 190 years.  Aside from beers on tap, there’s also Mae West Punch. It’s believed that the vaudeville star and actress danced there during her childhood.
