She is just 14 years old, but already has that entrepreneurial spirit. Her name is Star Papas from West Brighton, Staten Island who is making a name for herself selling over-sized chocolate chip cookies from a stand at a summer pop-up in Times Square between West 46th and West 47th Street and 7th Avenue.
We were drawn to it by shouts of “Cookies! Cookies!” Here we found Papas, her mother and younger sibling selling the sweet treats. The cookies are about six inches in size, soft and chewy with just the right amount of chocolate chips. They sell for $5 a pop. Orders can also be made via the Galaxy Instagram page.
