In this age of food to go, Samia's (7922 3rd Ave; (718) 748-3337) in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn offers a wide assortment of Middle Eastern delicacies. For under twenty dollars, we stocked up on plump mini meat and spinach pies (larger ones are also available along with flat pies), kibbe balls, omelets called Ejjeh made with eggs and parsley, and citrusy tabbouleh salad with bulgar wheat. There are also dips like humus and baba ganoush, along with traditional date cookies. It's perfect for a picnic in the park. - TR
