A NYC Tavern is Offering a Chance to Elope for Valentine’s Day

Black Barn (19 East 26th St) is offering couples the chance to elope or renew their vows for Valentine’s Day. Hosted in the restaurant’s front tavern area, couples can their vows performed by an ordained minister every half hour From 5:00-7:00 PM by reserving their timeslot by calling the restaurant direct. After the ceremony, guests can take their wedding photo in the tavern’s ski-lift as well. The happy couple will also receive a complimentary champagne throughout the night when booking with Black Barn’s pre-fixe menu, which they must to do be able to get married or renew vows gratis.

Chef/Owner James Beard Award Winner John Doherty and newly appointed Executive Chef Brian Fowler, are featuring more than 70 aphrodisiac ingredients on the menu with starters including Wild Mushroom Toast, Tuna Carpaccio and Foie Gras Torchon. Mains include Butter Poached Lobster Risotto, Pan Seared Bay Scallops and Sweet Potato Gnocchi and dessert is a choice of house-made Apple Cider Doughnuts or an Affogato Sundae.
