A WENDY WEEKEND TO BENEFIT TDF
October 12, 2020, 6:42.47 pm ET
“A Wendy Weekend: Three Nights, Three Plays, All Wendy,” honoring what would have been Pulitzer Prize-winner Wendy Wasserstein’s 70th birthday, will be presented from October 16-19. Proceeds from the event will benefit the TDF Wendy Wasserstein Project
The weekend of readings in repertory, all directed by Stan Zimmerman, will include “Uncommon Women and Others,” “Isn’t It Romantic,” and “The Heidi Chronicles.” Cast members include Amanda Bearse, Ian Buchanan, Lucy DeVito, Ryan Duncan, and Raviv Ullman.
“By presenting three of Wasserstein’s classic comedies in repertory, I wanted to tell the history of the Women’s Movement while also celebrating Wendy’s wonderful words,” said Zimmerman.
