Amanda Reid Steps Into Lead Role in Broadway’s Hell’s Kitchen

Newcomer Amanda Reid will take over the leading role of Ali in Broadway’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” now at the Shubert Theatre, beginning on May 27. She will replace Jade Milan.
Reid will also be heard on two bonus tracks of a new deluxe edition of the show’s cast album -- “The River” and “If I Ain’t Got You” -- which will be fully released on May 19.
The musical, which is loosely based on the life of its composer-lyricist, 17-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, growing up as a teenager in New York City, is directed by Michael Greif, with a book by Kristoffer Diaz, and choreography by Camille A. Brown,
The current cast is led by Jessica Vosk, Durrell “Tank” Babbs, Kecia Lewis, and Phillip Johnson Richardson.
