Alla Salute! Italy’s Aperitivo is back with the social charms of drinks before dinner at this new Upper East Side restaurant. Apertivo restaurant is turned into one big bar between the hours of 4-6 pm. The new drinking and eating experience includes a signature bar menu paired with samples of complimentary food to provide the authentic experience. Geared towards after work socializing before dinner or as the perfect neighborhood or date-night spot, the gathering is the perfect jumping off point before dinner.
Located in a grand space with Portuguese tiles and an open kitchen with a pizza oven, the new restaurant is the work of Nick Pashalis and Nick Tsoulos who just opened one of their Anassa Taverna in Battery Park City.
Signature dishes include: Appetizers like fritto miso and baked clams, followed by oven-baked, thin-crust pizzas and signature house-made pastas include, Penne Ala Vodka, Fettuccini Scampi and Pappardelle with Bolognese and Parmigiano. Exciting cocktails are available to pair including a signature Aperitivo Negroni.
