Acclaimed singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw will perform live at 28 Liberty on Friday, September 27 at 1pm, featuring the Sing for Hope HandaHarmony Youth Chorus. This event kicks off a series of free performances in partnership with Sing for Hope, a nonprofit that brings creativity to schools and public spaces. It also celebrates the release of Chariot 20, a reimagined version of his debut album, originally released in 2003, featuring hits like “I Don’t Want to Be” and “Follow Through.”

As the weather cools and pumpkin season arrives, Pier 57’s Pumpkin Patch standsis perfect backdrop for capturing cherished family moments or snapping festive selfies. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. through November 1, Pier 57’s Pumpkin Patch invites everyone to enjoy the spirit of the season without leaving the city.

Join fellow soccer fans at The Standard Biergarten on Saturday, September 28, for Goaltoberfest, a watch party celebrating the Bundesliga matchup between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and FC Bayern. Kicking off at 12:30 PM, this 21+ event promises an exciting atmosphere with beers flowing and jersey giveaways, including signed merchandise for lucky attendees. The first 100 guests will even receive a complimentary beer.

On October 6th, New York City’s renowned soup dumpling destination, Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao, will host its inaugural Soup Dumpling Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Located on 6th Avenue between 31st and 32nd Streets, this exciting event will feature fan-favorite soup dumpling sets, including the famous Lucky Six Combo and classics like Crab Meat and Pork. Festival-goers can also indulge in other delicious offerings, such as Pan Fried Pork Buns and Braised Beef Noodle Soup. Also on October 6, the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine will host its annual Feast of St. Francis Day Service and Fair, welcoming people and animals to celebrate the patron saint of the environment and ecology. The day kicks off at 10:30 am with a Procession of the Animals, music by Paul Winter, and dance by Forces of Nature. Following the service, attendees can enjoy a fair featuring animal blessings, pet portrait photography, and information on environmental initiatives, rain or shine. The ASPCA will also be on-site with an adoption van from 12 pm to 2 pm, offering a chance to meet and adopt pets in need of homes. Passes are not required, but RSVPs are encouraged.
