% Arabica, a Kyoto-based coffee shop, has landed in DUMBO in a very cool space. Located in the Fulton Ferry Historic District, the shop is using coffee sourced from small farms, serving single-origin coffees and lighter roasts.
Carne Mare has arrived at Pier 17 at the Seaport. It’s Andrew Carmellini’s new chop house serving up prime cuts of beef, seafood and Italian specialties.
SONA is doing lunch. Beginning Sunday, June 20 SONA will be offering a “flavor-packed” lunch. Look for dishes like an Egg & Cheese Dosa and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Masala fries.

Milu has launched a new Sichuan Spiced Wings Picnic Box, now available on Saturdays. The box, which costs $45 and serves two, included a bucket of 13 wings, scallion mayo dipping sauce, marinated cucumbers, tofu seaweed salad, 8 buttermilk biscuits and more. Available for pick-up, delivery and eat-in.
Smorgasburg is back in Prospect Park on Sundays starting June 13 with 35 vendors, full bar, ample seating and lots of space for the kids to run around, after filling their bellies of course. 11am-6pm at Breeze Hill.

Picnic Performances kicked off this week at Bryant Park and judging by the crowds it was an astounding success. You will need to show proof of vax or negative COVID test to get it.

Fawkes the Phoenix has landed at the Harry Potter Store in Flatiron. The crowds have died down a bit from opening day. Stop in for some Butterbeer at the Butterbeer Bar with nearly 1,000 bottles rising from the floor.

Dippin’ Dots, a staple on boardwalks across the Jersey shore, has its first NYC location on 23rd St across from Madison Square Park serving up its ice cream beads in various color and flavor combinations for the summer.
New York City continues to show its PRIDE. The windows at Saks Fifth Avenue are a rainbow of colors to mark the event.
