A bold new addition to New York’s cultural scene launches May 9 with the opening of Artech Space, a 4,000-square-foot exhibition venue at 445 Park Avenue dedicated to showcasing innovative work at the intersection of art, technology, and civilization.

The inaugural show, "Becoming Things, Becoming Time: Bolmahanat Delight Garden," marks the beginning of Artech(ism): A Manifesto—a yearlong series featuring cutting-edge global creatives. Curated by Artistic Director Yanhan Peng, the first installation brings together Chinese mixed-media artist Miao Jing and Kazakh novelist Aidos Amantai. Jing’s data-driven sculptures and "digital relics" merge Taoist imagery and internet culture, while Amantai’s poetic narrative from his novel Bolmahan evokes the voice of a nomadic people and their digital future.

Artech Space is operated by the newly founded Artech Foundation, led by Chinese-Canadian entrepreneur and collector Edward Q. Zeng, and aims to foster international artistic and technological exchange.

The exhibition runs through July 10, 2025, and admission is free. For more information, visit https://artech.org/
