At Ha Noi House, soup really is good food

Ha Noi House, Coronavirus Pandemic, NYC 2020

In good times, it's virtually impossible to grab at table at Ha Noi House (119 St. Mark's Place; (212) 995-5010) in the East Village.  These days the kicthen is busy meeting takeout orders. But the food at the Vietnamese spot is still worthy of call.  Some of the options are limited, but the Classic Hanoi-style Pho with two meets easily gets four stars.  Other popular dishes include the Crispy Spring Rolls with crab and pork; Pork Sausage and Vegetarian Summer Rolls; and the Brisket Bahn Mi with smoked chili sauce.  Orders can be called in directly or ordered online via Seamless and Caviar.  They've also created a Ha Noi House Staff Relief Fund for those who'd liked to donate during this Covid-19 Pandemic.
