The Paul Taylor Dance Company will hold a virtual benefit gala, “Modern Is Now,” on Thursday, November 19 at 8pm.
Hosted by Michael Novak and Alicia Graf Mack, this compelling one-hour program will highlight the Taylor Company’s unparalleled artistry, unveil never-before-seen archival excerpts and share work on screen that reminds us that modernism continues to provide a fresh lens for understanding our common experience. The evening will also feature a special tribute to muse and mentor Bettie de Jong.
In addition, the event will feature a special appearance by Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Billy Porter, who previously emceed the company’s 2018 gala.
