BROADWAY VS TO HONOR ANDRE DE SHIELDS AND LILLIAS WHITE

The Broadway Advocacy Coalition (BAC) has announced “BROADWAY VS”, a musical event that will be livestreamed from Shubert Studios at New World Stages on Tuesday, November 17 at 7PM ET.
Hosted by Amber Iman, the event will celebrate the legendary careers of Tony Award winners André De Shields (“Hadestown”) and Lillias White (“The Life.”) The event will raise funds to support the next generation of BIPOC leadership within the theatre industry through the Cody Renard Richard Scholarship Program, as well as BAC’s other initiatives to support and empower artist activists.
The evening will feature selections from their extensive careers on Broadway and film including “The Wiz,” “Dreamgirls,” “Hercules,” “The Full Monty” and more, as well as conversations between the two iconic Broadway stars.
