Bar Marseille in the Rockaways will offer the Peeptini for Easter weekend (April 15-17). Says bar manager Daniel Trujillo: "Spring is about the floral spirit, the new beginning when we see the streets full of blossoms and think of all the flowers coming up, it's what this cocktail is about; a taste of the first blossoms flowers with a fresh and creamy feel."
The recipe is as follows:
Peeptini
1oz Empress gin
.5oz Cointreau
.25oz Pomp & Whimpsy (Jazmin gin)
.75oz Lavender Syrup
.5oz Lime Juice
.5oz Raspberry Puree
.5oz Aquafaba (chickpea water)
Peeps Bunnies
Flower Petals
Add all the ingredients into a shaker and give a dry shake for 7 seconds without ice. Then add ice and shake for another 10 seconds and double strain into a large coupe or martini glass. Garnish with Peeps Bunnies and flower petals
