The party of the summer is back—and it’s all going down at Pier 17. DJ Skratch Bastid’s legendary Bastid’s BBQ returns to The Seaport on Sunday, June 8, 2025, bringing a full day of beats, bites, and block party energy.
Set against the backdrop of the East River, Bastid’s BBQ transforms Seaport Square into an open-air dance floor with food, drinks, and, of course, music. Confirmed to join Bastid this year are Grand Master Flash and DJ Jazzy Jeff, with more surprise guests expected to drop in.

Started in 2010, Bastid’s BBQ has become a summertime ritual across cities like Toronto, Miami, and New York, blending Bastid’s signature party-rocking style with the community vibes of a backyard cookout. Expect sets that bounce from classic hip-hop to reggae, funk, and crowd-pleasers.
While the event is known for its turntable legends, the food lineup has also become part of the draw, with local vendors and Seaport favorites serving up BBQ fare, snacks, and cool-down drinks.
The party kicks off at 2 PM and runs through sunset until 10 PM. Admission is free with RSVP. For details and to RSVP, visit theseaport.nyc.
