Broadway Barks, the annual star-studded dog and cat adoption event, will return to Shubert Alley on Saturday, July 12. The event, which will be hosted this year by co-founder Bernadette Peters and her “Old Friends” co-star Beth Leavel, is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The event begins at 3pm with a “meet and greet” of all the adoptable pets, which come from over two dozen organizations. Then, from 5pm-6:30pm, the potential adoptees make their Broadway debut on stage alongside some of Broadway’s favorite stars.
