Broadway stars and young performers will unite in Times Square this Saturday, April 26, for the fourth annual Broadway Celebrates Earth Day concert—an electrifying outdoor event that fuses theater, activism, and community. Taking place from 11am to 3pm, the free concert, presented by the Broadway Green Alliance and Times Square Alliance, marks a marquee moment in NYC DOT’s Car-Free Earth Day initiative.

This year’s lineup is stacked with talent. Tony Award winner Andrew Rannells (Book of Mormon), Merle Dandridge (Hadestown), Stark Sands (& Juliet), and Shaina Taub (Suffs) will take the stage alongside a new generation of performers—over 80 young artists from across the region. The concert will conclude with a rousing rendition of Taub’s anthem “Keep Marching,” a call to action for environmental justice and collective hope.

Hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley Jackson (Stars in the House), the afternoon will also feature appearances from Broadway favorites Jenn Gambatese, Rema Webb, Anika Larsen, Khaila Wilcoxon, and many more. Broadway Celebrates Earth Day takes place in Times Square’s pedestrian plaza between 45th and 46th Streets. Can’t make it in person? Catch the livestream hosted by Stars in the House.
