The smash-hit revival of Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” will play its final performance at Broadway’s Winter Garden Theater on January 1, reflecting the end of the contract for its stars Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. It will have played 358 regular and 46 preview performances by the time it takes its final bow.
This production is directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle. It also stars Shuler Hensley as Marcellus Washburn, Jefferson Mays as Mayor Shinn, Jayne Houdyshell as Mrs. Shinn, and Marie Mullen as Mrs. Paroo.
