Brooklyn Art Haus Hosts Pride Comedy Festival

The Pride Comedy Festival takes over Brooklyn Art Haus (24 Marcy Ave) in Williamsburg from June 24–29 with six nights of stand-up, sketch, drag, and musical improv from LGBTQ+ performers. From rom-com rewrites to bold solo shows, the festival centers queer joy and creativity just in time to close out Pride Month. Tickets and showtimes are available at bkarthaus.com/shows-events.

Here’s a look at the 2025 Brooklyn Pride Comedy Festival lineup:

Tuesday, June 24

- Dolls & Guys: The Improvised Musical – Drag, character comedy, and Broadway-style musical improv collide in a variety showcase that’s equal parts bold and hilarious.

- Angus Is Gay – An all-queer, all non-men musical improv experience that’s weird, wonderful, and laugh-out-loud funny.

Wednesday, June 25

- The Banana Show with Ann Van Epps – Award-winning comic Ann Van Epps explores love, dating, and disaster through music and storytelling.

- Gay Haus Comedy – A curated night of queer stand-up highlighting fresh voices and stories from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

Thursday, June 26

- When Hailey Met Sally: The Queer Rewrite – A rom-com send-up told through stand-up, storytelling, and character work.

- The Friendliest #&*% From Fargo, ND – A solo show from a queer comic artist exploring life, identity, and finding your voice.

Friday, June 27

- Alexa Springman 5’4” – A musical comedy debut turning childhood trauma and a theater degree into comedy gold.

- Solomon Georgio – The Seattle-based stand-up blends sharp social commentary with tales of growing up a gay African immigrant.

Saturday, June 28

- A Vulva Named Carol – A queer-led sketch show filled with outrageous characters and sharp satire.

- Guilty Please: A Cumming Out Story – Amanda Melhuish gets real (and really funny) about self-love and sexual awakening.
