Hortus NYC announces New Spring Menu and Executive Chef

Geo Park has been named the new Executive Chef of Hortus NYC (271 Fifth Ave). Park, formerly of Michelin-starred Jua, is breathing new life into the menu blending Asian flavors with subtle European twists.
Spring and summer offerings include: Hamachi in yuzu kosho sauce with cucumber, pickled peppers, and blood orange; Flat Pasta, a large raviolo with ricotta mushroom filling, grilled white asparagus, bonito, and chives; Braised Short Rib with crushed daikon, roasted baby carrots, and fried mushrooms; and Cod with a miso crust served over lobster risotto with charred spring onion.
Spring desserts bring Berry Bingsu, a Korean milk-based shaved ice dessert topped with Raspberry compote and raspberry flakes, and Yuzu Panna Cotta with raspberry and butter crumble.
