Calista Flockhart and Christian Slater Lead New Group Revival of Curse of the Starving Class

The New Group has officially opened its revival of Sam Shepard’s OBIE-winning play “Curse of the Starving Class,” which will run through April 6 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).
Directed by Scott Elliott, the production stars David Anzuelo, Kyle Beltran, Calista Flockhart, Cooper Hoffman, Jeb Kreager, Stella Marcus, and Christian Slater.
“Curse of the Starving Class” focuses on the Tate family, whose home is on the verge of collapse. However, the family white-knuckles to their past, while scratching and clawing their way towards a better future.
