Casa Carmen (177 Franklin St), the elevated Mexican restaurant in Tribeca, is launching brunch. The family-run restaurant is serving authentic, tradition cuisine.
Brunch options include dishes to share, such as Sopes de Rib Eye served on a thick tortilla with house sauces; Huevos rancheros, sunny side up eggs on a tortilla with salsa ranchera and refried beans; - Molletes Gratinados, Telera bread, refried beans, Oaxaca cheese gratin, and pico de gallo; Huevos Benedictinos, thick tortilla, poached eggs, longaniza, potato, poblano sauce with salad; and Pancakes de Elote, corn pancakes, berries with cajeta [caramel sauce] or maple syrup.
The weekend brunch is being served from 11am to 4pm going forward.
