Celebrating the holidays high above Manhattan at the Edge

December 10, 2020, 6:40.26 pm ET

Edge, New York City’s highest outdoor sky deck, is extending holiday hours offering visitors four more hours each day to see the city as they never have before. Beginning December 18th, Edge will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (current hours are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM).  Now through January 4th, Edge will also feature dazzling holiday decor with nearly 50,000 lights illuminating the Skyline Steps and interior spaces, brilliantly lit trees and giant hot air balloon displays for an even more magical journey to Edge during the holidays.

Edge has also introduced a limited-edition holiday “Cocoa in the Clouds” to sweeten your visit. The hot chocolate is layered in fresh, made-to-order whipped cream and topped with a rice crispy treat coated in crushed peppermint for a seasonal twist. Pro Tip: for those 21+, add a liquor of your choice to further elevate this holiday treat.

Rising 1,131 feet in the air from the heart of Hudson Yards, Edge features indoor and outdoor viewing areas with unparalleled 360-degree views of the city’s breathtaking skyline, a thrilling glass-floor, angled glass walls, and outdoor skyline steps from the 100th to 101st floors of 30 Hudson Yards. Whether you are finding new ways to explore NYC or dreaming of a first-trip to the City next year, a visit to Edge is the perfect gift. Digital gift vouchers offer a safe and easy way to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Gift vouchers are available at www.edgenyc.com/gift-vouchers.
