Sir Henry's, a legendary name echoing through the annals of Irish music and culture, is finding new life in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. The original Sir Henry's in Ireland, which witnessed the inaugural Irish performance of Nirvana, is bringing its music history and design to New York City, along with some classic cocktails.

The centerpiece of the space is a horseshoe-shaped bar with a crocodile leather-wrapped drink rail and a Mad Men Esque-style concealed cocktail lounge to transport patrons into a world where every sip is an experience. Sir Henry's cocktail program is a tribute to the iconic American classics of the 1950s and 1970s. We're told every sip tells a story, and every cocktail celebrates the past, present, and future in flavor and presentation.

Look for cocktails like the Sir-endipity with vodka, lemon, cucumber, plum and bubbles; Giddy Up described as a spicy marg with a kick; and Nirvana, a clarified milk punch pina colada.

Other highlights include The Gentleman & Scholar, a bourbon old fashioned with chocolate, orange and cardamom; and Suit You Sir with tequila, cinnamon Italian bitters, grapefruit, lime and egg white.

Visitors will also find a selection of bar bites ranging from pan-fried brussels sprouts with bacon and sweet chili to assorted chicken wings and buffalo spring rolls.

Sir Henry is located at 795 8th Avenue, New York, NY. For more information, visit sirhenrysnyc.com
