Casa Ora in Williamsburg has reopened with a new look, updated menu and some pretty spiffy cocktails. The Purple Banana is one of them. The bright purple drink lives up to its name. It is made with tequila, dry vermouth, Blue Pea Tea, and yes, banana.
The Peligrosa is a sexy cocktail that arrives with a spiced rim draped over one side of the glass. It's a mix of tequila, chile de arbol, tamarind, orgeat, and lime.
Caracas Caracas is the favorite of Ivo Diaz who developed the cocktail program at Casa Ora. The drink is made with Santa Teresa Rum, chocolate bitters and papelón. It's described as a summer twist on an Old Fashioned made only from Venezuelan ingredients.
Casa Ora is located at 148 Meserole St, Brooklyn, NY, 11206
