Point Seven, a taste of the Riviera next to Grand Central, offers an opulent array of seafood dishes ranging from warm to chilled. The raw bar is laden with crustaceans like lobster, king Crab, wild shrimp, and shellfish, including little neck clams and a selection of East and West Coast oysters. Groups can indulge in assorted seafood towers like The MetLife ($145) and The Vanderbilt ($175) towers, featuring a 1 ½ pound lobster. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better way to wait for your train with the restaurant's Coastal Commuter Tasting ($45) with Montauk Red Shrimp, an array of oysters, and a chilled Maryland crab salad served with Yuzo ponzu mignonette. This rotating seasonal seafood experience lasts 30 minutes and includes a glass of white or sparkling wine.

Chef Todd Mitgang, executive Chef at Crave Fishbar, maintains a reputation for sourcing the freshest and most sustainable fish in the city. It’s also where you’ll find an Oyster Sommelier, Jeremy Benson, an expert in all things oyster. Far from a gimmick, Benson studied with the Oyster Master Guild. Recent slurps include Blue Point, Black Duck Salt, Great Gun, Mere Point, Shibumi, and Samish. The Midtown, Upper East, and West locations also offer more chilled temptations, including ½ lb Jonah Crab Claws ($24) and Kaluga Caviar served with Creme Fraiche ($42).

Dive into two decadent raw bar towers, which include a selection of oysters, shrimp, clams, Tuna Tartare, and either a half or whole lobster. If crudo is more your thing, don’t miss the Hokkaido Scallop crudo (chive oil, daikon, serrano chili, yuzu), Salmon Belly (mustard oil, green apple, horseradish), and black sesame oil Tuna Tartare. The ideal accompaniment is the build-your-own Martini Cart or any wine from the Wine Spectator Award-winning list.
Riverpark

A refreshing raw bar with a view and a cool breeze awaits at Riverpark’s seasonal outdoor terrace overlooking the East River. Guests can indulge in Lump Crab Salad with cucumber relish, avocado, chilis, lemon, crispy rice noodles, and Hamachi Crudo with Bing cherry consommé and gooseberries. The luxurious Seafood Tower boasts oysters, shrimp, lump crab, and tuna tartare. To pair with the raw bar, choose from a selection of wines from Riverpark’s Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence in 2022 and 2023. There’s a robust cocktail program, and the Spritz Bar on the Terrace offers five varieties or a four-sample Spritz Flight if you can’t choose!
