The series will kick off at noon Friday with an event hosted by Broadway stars Norm Lewis and Michael Urie. It will also feature guest speakers from Playbill, The Broadway League and the Times Square Alliance, along with Commissioner Anne Del Castillo of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Vikki Been, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Economic Development, and Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer. In addition, there will also be special performances by Brian Stokes Mitchell and Jessica Vosk, with music director John McDaniel.

Other events in the series will feature Broadway stars Joshua Henry, James T. Lane, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Lauren Marcus, Bianca Marroquin, Jose Llana and Robin De Jesus, composers Jason Robert Brown and Joe Iconis, and columnist Michael Riedel, among many others.

On Sunday, September 19, from 11am until 1pm, there will be a special concert, hosted by Jelani Alladin, that will spotlight marquee talent from approximately 25 returning and new Broadway productions.
