When Chef Michael Toscano and his wife Caitlin brought
Da Toscano to the former Perla space, no one knew a pandemic was about to hit. About a month in, the restaurant was forced to temporarily close to dining inside and turned outward to help keep the business going. The restaurant is currently serving its signature dishes to go and they are worthy of a special night out.

Starters include a lovely Caesar Salad with a tangy parmigiana vinaigrette. Other recent offerings include roasted beets with goat cheese and braised artichokes with butter beans. Housemade pastas run the gamut from Squid Ink Linguine and Orecchiette with broccoli rabe pesto & Italian sausage to Shrimp Mezzalune smothered in tarragon and hedgehog mushroom butter. Larger plates include a Porchetta Melt, a 14 oz Ribeye and a Fried Chicken Sandwich with cherry pepper glassato. Desserts bring things like Grandpa Lusk's Sour Cream Cheese Cake and Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

Cocktails are offered to go along with a daily assortments of reds, whites and rosé wines. Food is available for pickup (212-606-4054) or delivery via UberEats, Grub Hub and Caviar.
