Daniel Boulud Plans New Restaurant Near Lincoln Center

Chef Daniel Boulud is preparing to open a new restaurant this fall at the corner of 64th and Broadway, directly across from Lincoln Center. In an announcement shared on Instagram, Boulud described the upcoming concept as “something new” and “a magnificent transformation,” revealing that Bar Boulud, Boulud Sud, and Épicerie Boulud will close on June 22, 2025 to make way for the fresh project. The restaurant will once again be designed in partnership with David Rockwell and the Rockwell Group.
Boulud thanked longtime guests for nearly two decades of support at the Upper West Side trio—recalling memorable meals of charcuterie, coq au vin, chicken tagine, and grapefruit givrés, not to mention celebratory bottles of Burgundy. While full details are still under wraps, the chef teased a grand debut just in time for the 2025 holiday season. “I can’t wait to welcome you,” he wrote.
