Doughnut Plant and Bowery Farming Team Up With Savory Doughnut

Doughnut Plant, known for its artisanal doughnuts is partnering with Bowery Farming on a savory sourdoughnut. After some tinkering, the Classic Pesto Sourdoughnut (vegetarian-friendly) was born — it combines vegetarian parmesan and Bowery Farming Basil in the sourdough as well as its pesto, made with greenmarket garlic, pine nuts and EVOO, which generously tops the savory sourdoughnut.

The new doughnut is available in all NYC Doughnut Plant locations, Fridays-Sundays, all summer. $5.75 each. Bowery Farming Basil will also be for sale in all Doughnut Plant stores throughout the summer.
