From the Strip to the Strip Steak—Drai’s is set to turn NYC on fire. Drai’s, the glitzy Vegas nightlife titan that’s hosted everyone from J-Lo and Rihanna to The Weeknd, has officially arrived in New York City—and it's traded bottle service for beef tenderloin.

Opening June 11th in the heart of the Meatpacking District, Drai’s Supper Club (244 W 14th St) is the brand’s first East Coast venture, bringing a sultry blend of French-American cuisine, live jazz, and downtown decadence to the very space that once housed icons like Nell’s and The Darby.

At the helm is Dustin Drai, son of nightlife legend Victor Drai, reclaiming the brand’s fine-dining roots with a throwback supper club feel—and a splash of old-school glamour. “It’s an homage to where our brand began,” says Drai. “A return to the sophisticated dining experience that laid our foundation.”
The 8,000-square-foot venue over two floors, designed by the Drai duo with award-winning firms Leo A Daly and Imperium Design, oozes retro sophistication. Think Art Deco accents, floral velvet chairs, and a grand stage anchoring the 120-seat dining room, where live bands and jazz ensembles croon five nights a week.

And yes, you can come hungry. Executive Chef Yoo Hyun Suk (Blue Hill, Marlow Events) is plating refined throwbacks with a contemporary twist. Highlights include a Tuna Crisp with crème fraîche and truffle oil, a show-stopping Terrine of Foie Gras sourced from Hudson Valley, and Steak au Poivre drenched in a rich cognac-peppercorn sauce. Even the mashed potatoes were a year-long R&D mission in honor of chef Robuchon—no half measures here.

Desserts are no afterthought. The Baba au Rhum—Victor’s childhood favorite—arrives boozy and dripping with strawberries, while warm chocolate chip cookies are served with housemade hot chocolate and meringue on a golden tower.
After dinner, descend into Drai’s downstairs lounge, where cheetah print meets candlelight. This moody den boasts over 18 tables, classic cocktails, and a cheeky flight of three Espresso Martinis—a nod to the roaring ‘20s, updated for 2025’s downtown elite.
