Edith’s is making the West Village a destination for serious sandwich lovers this summer. After kicking things off in April with Philadelphia’s Middle Child, the Brooklyn-born Jewish comfort food favorite is teaming up this month with SoHo’s Revelie Luncheonette for a patty melt that offers instant gratification.
“For this second collaboration in the series, we partnered with our friends at Revelie in SoHo and we're doing a classic patty melt,” Elyssa Heller, founder and CEO of Edith's Eatery and Grocery tells Cititour. Paired with a Sour Cherry & Lime Rickey Slushie, it’s the kind of simple, craveable combo that makes a New York summer feel complete.
The series is part of a larger celebration at Edith's. “We're celebrating all of our favorite restaurants, chefs, sandwich shops in Chicago, Boston, LA, and New York,” says Heller. See our exclusive interview here:
Upcoming collaborations include Saltie Girl in June (seafood-centric sandwiches straight from Boston and LA), Chicago’s legendary Wieners Circle in July, and NYC’s own Ivan Ramen in August. Each month brings new sandwich-slushie duos, available for a limited time at both Edith’s Williamsburg and West Village outposts. Consider it your summer-long excuse to indulge.
