El Fish Marisqueria, a new Mexican-influenced seafood restaurant, is making its debut on the Upper West Side. The official opening is set for Thursday, February 2nd.

El Fish Marisqueria is the latest venture from Chef/Owner Julian Medina and Restaurateur Louis Skibar, both of Toloache Restaurant Group. Chef Medina embarked on a culinary exploration to Mexico’s fishing capital, Ensenada, to seek inspiration for the menu. He visited fish and farmers’ markets, discovering ways to evolve new and traditional dishes from the region.

The menu includes things like Brochetas de Salmon Kung Pao (salmon skewers, poblano peppers, roasted peanut Kung Pao salsa, & Mexican creamy rice) and Fideo Seco (Mexican noodles, lobster, black truffle, tomato-chipotle creamy sauce, & queso fresco).

Diners will also discover an extensive raw bar, along with ceviches, tostadas and tacos, as well as whole grilled branzino, pan-fried "Ensenada" lobster, and El Surf and Turf, in addition to multiple vegetable sides, like miso-glazed eggplant. The bar program features signature cocktails, with a specialty selection of margaritas.

El Fish Marisqueria is located at 155 Amsterdam Avenue (Nr W 67 St), New York, NY (212) 874-2000
