Charming Lower East Side gastropub and tapas bar Excuse My French (96 Orchard Street) has unveiled chef Johann Giraud’s new Spring menu, which ranges from a classic cheese platter with a French baguette to tasty beef sliders with “grand-ma” sauce; sautéed Brussels Sprouts with almonds, cranberries and balsamic.

Other new offerings include yellowfin tuna tartare with fresh avocado, jicama, and sesame sauce; butterflied salmon seasoned with lemon and pepper over a bed or ratatouille Provençal; a garlic spicy shrimp skewer over a bed of basil spaghetti squash; vegetarian Buddha bowl with peeled edamame, beet and cabbage slow, ratatouille and yellow squash over jasmine rice; and smoked herring with roasted fingerling potatoes and vegetables in a creamy vinaigrette

The eatery is also offering a variety of fresh and delicious cocktails with a French touch to celebrate Spring, including the 1789 (LIBERTÉ) made with Bastille whiskey, Bonal, Lillet white and chili-salt; the Cherry Blossom made with Grey Goose, cherry liqueur, canton and kirschwasser; and the Libere Navalny, made with Chopin Vodka, fresh beet juice, green Chartreuse, and fresh lemon juice.
