Dangling lamps and a fire pit provide a festive setting for outdoor dining at Wakuwaku. Located in the courtyard behind Japan Village at Industry City, the restaurant is offering an assortment of small plates, bento boxes and sashimi. Dishes range from braised gobo root with carrots and sesame to fried sqid legs with Japanese QP mayo, panko fried "kani croquettes" with crab cream grilled, bone-in mackeral. For the bento boxes, diners have a choice of pork katsu, unaji (eel), fried chicken karaage, salmon teriyaki and more. Each is served with two types of pickles, rice and salad. Mixed sashimi brings tuna, salmon, yellowtail and octopus. Daily specials are also available. Craft & classic cocktails, Santory Toki highballs, beer and cider are also available.
