Pups & Pastries Event at Gansevoort Meatpacking
For National Dog Day on Friday, August 26th, Hotel Gansevroot in the Meatpacking District is hosting a popup puppuccino bar at European-inspired cafe, Coffee + Cocktails, offering treats from local NYC pet shop Beasty Feast alongside puppuccinos for furry friends. Reservations are from 5 PM - 8 PM but those that arrive at 4 PM, will get a chance to meet adoptable dogs from PupStarz Rescue that will be on site. A stay at the hotel includes a luxe dog bed, food and water bowls, a toy, and other fun perks. Rates starting at $535.

Marram Montauk wants you to bring your furry friends to the end of the world with you. Kicking off National Dog Day August 26th through the end of November, Montauk’s newest boutique hotel is launching a special beach picnic package with treats for both dog and owner. The talented team behind the South American café, Mostrador, helmed by Argentinian chef Fernando Trocca will be serving up eats for humans and pups alike. Package will include a Mostrador lunch for two, including homemade pastries and a pitcher of lemonade as well as locally made gourmet dog treats. Rate is an add on fee of $380.

Puppy Brunch at HOWM Cocina + Cocktails
Running every Sunday through National Dog Day on August 26th, is HOWM Cocina ’s Puppy Brunch. Dishes include: Avo Toast, Pan Dulce French Toast and Churro bites for people and for pets, Doggy Meatballs and a Puppy Frosty. Guests can also expect activities and products from some of NYC’s favorite pet brands. From Pet Valet, experience the brand new pet assistant app servicing dogs across NYC with your pups wellness top of mind. The team will be on site offering $5 walks for pups at brunch. 22% of the proceeds from each brunch will be donated to Animal Haven NYC so that even more deserving pups can find their forever homes. Pre-fix menu starts at $40.

Loulou Bring a Four-Legged Friend
Loulou, (176 8th Avenue) the stunning French Bistro and Speakeasy in Chelsea, which gets its name after owner Mathias Van Leyden’s adorable rescue dog, is the perfect place to celebrate the holiday. On Friday, 8/26 Loulou will be giving out free mini hot dog treats for all dogs served on nothing less than the finest dog dishes.
