A new Mediterranean restaurant and lounge with deep Turkish roots has landed in the West Village. Foursome, named for its four founders—Haldun Kilit, Kaan Sekban, Tuba Demircioglu, and Oya Mungan—has arrived at 9 Jones Street with a day-to-night concept blending warm hospitality, bold flavors, and cultural storytelling. The design is breezy and welcoming, with playful Mediterranean wall art, white chairs and wooden tables, and a tribute corner honoring former neighborhood resident Bob Dylan.

At the helm is Executive Chef Kenan Atmaca, whose global résumé includes cooking for royalty and diplomats, joined by chefs Melih Turgay Yılmaz and Ferhat Kanca. Together, they craft a menu that moves from a lavish Full Turkish Breakfast to eclectic lunch offerings like Pishi Tacos and rice bowls, and into dinner with dishes like braised short ribs with smoked yogurt and Sumac-Crusted salmon. For dessert, try the lavender panna cotta or the indulgent Nutella banana bread.

The beverage program, led by Jorge Ramirez (a.k.a. drag persona Gigi Martini for Pride Month), showcases Turkish-inspired cocktails like the Espresso Fortuni and Turkish Delight, as well as a curated wine list with rare vintages from Turkey, Italy, and Spain.

Open now for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Foursome offers a vibrant new home for Turkish flavors, community, and celebration in the heart of the Village.
